enwitness stays is a separate product for homes and short-stay properties - billed per property, on its own. Everything else is the per-building core.

Managed beacons

Every beacon is managed. The monthly amount covers the beacon itself, warranty, replacement swaps and batteries - for as long as it is on your plan. If one fails, we post a replacement and you stick it up. Beacons remain the property of enwitness, so the hardware is our problem and the record is yours.

Your first 10 beacons are included with every building plan. Need more? Add them any time in packs of 5: $49 once per pack for config and shipping, then $3 a beacon a month, per building.

Beacon allowances and add-ons are per building. They are never pooled across buildings and never discounted by portfolio size - the portfolio discount applies to the building base fee only.
Every occupant reporting point is backed by a beacon, one to one, so every accountability claim on a wall has verified presence behind it.
QR and NFC checkpoints are included at no charge under our fair use policy: they complement beacon coverage within a building and are not a substitute for it. See our terms for details.

Pricing questions

Why per building and not per worker?

Because charging per worker punishes the thing that makes enwitness valuable - getting your whole team using it. Every plan includes your whole team, with no per-worker fees, ever. You pay for the building, not the people in it.

How does billing work - card, invoice, or both?

Every plan needs a card on file. On annual building plans you can have the plan fee invoiced instead (+5%), but the card stays on file because beacons and one-off hardware are always charged to it.

Why are beacons and setup always card-only?

So your hardware sits on one clean record against your card and travels with you if you add or change buildings - the beacon record follows the customer, not the invoice.

Is enwitness stays a separate product?

Yes. It’s billed on its own, per property, and runs with or without a core building plan. One flat rate, a fixed set of one beacon plus up to eight check QRs and a guest reporting QR, unlimited workers and full history. See enwitness stays.

Can I add more checkpoints later?

Any time. QR and NFC checkpoints are included on every building plan under fair use. Beacons are added in packs of 5: $49 once per pack (config and shipping), then $3 a beacon a month, live from the day they are enrolled. stays is a deliberately fixed set (one beacon, up to eight checks) suited to a single property.

What’s the founding offer?

The first 25 buildings get setup waived and their first reporting signage pack free. It’s a real count, not a permanent banner - when the 25 are taken, it comes down. stays properties aren’t included in the 25.

What counts as a building?

One street address. A second address is a second building, even if it is the same owner or the same crew - that is what keeps per-building pricing honest for everyone. Campuses and multi-address sites belong on Enterprise.

Why don’t I buy the beacons?

Because owning hardware means owning its problems. The beacon, the battery and the warranty stay ours - you get a working checkpoint for less than a coffee a month, and it is swapped free the day it misbehaves.

What happens if I cancel?

30 days’ written notice. Billing stops at the end of the notice period. Beacons are returned within 30 days of cancellation (unreturned beacons incur $25 per beacon) and your building’s record is retained per your plan.

How long is my history kept?

Trial keeps 30 days. Starter shows 12 months on screen and your full record is always retained - the archive opens the moment you upgrade. Professional and Enterprise keep full history.
