The short version, while the long version is written.
Formal terms of service are being prepared with legal counsel and will replace this page before commercial launch, market by market. In the meantime, these are the commercial terms already published on our pricing page, in one place:
- A building is one street address. A second address is a second building. Campuses and multi-address sites belong on Enterprise.
- Beacons remain the property of enwitness. The monthly amount covers the beacon, warranty, replacement swaps and batteries.
- Cancellation is 30 days’ written notice. Billing stops at the end of the notice period. Beacons are returned within 30 days of cancellation; unreturned beacons incur $25 per beacon. The building’s record is retained per plan.
- QR and NFC checkpoints are included under fair use. They are provided at no charge to complement a genuine beacon deployment at the same building, not to operate as a stand-alone patrol or attendance system. Where usage patterns indicate substitution rather than complement, we may review the account and discuss a plan adjustment - we will always raise it with you first, and fair use review will never result in suspension of service or loss of records.
- Customers must inform their workers. Companies using enwitness are responsible for telling their workers before it is used at their workplace and for complying with privacy and workplace law, and accept this as a condition of using the platform.
This summary is provided in plain English for transparency. It is not the final legal agreement.
