Your teams do the work. Now you can prove it.

Cleaning, security and facilities crews do their jobs when nobody’s watching - and cop the blame when anything’s wrong. enwitness gives you independent proof your people attended, stayed and did their rounds. Proof that wins tenders, ends invoice disputes and protects your workers. Verification that costs your crew zero effort.

Every site, every shift, one defensible record.

See your teams across every client site: visits, times, dwell. When a client queries an invoice, attach the record. When a complaint lands about last Tuesday, the record answers it in thirty seconds - often in your worker’s favour.

Dispute answered - wireframe Sample card showing a worker's confirmed presence on level 3, answering a complaint with the record. Complaint: “Level 3 wasn’t cleaned Tuesday” Level 3: cleaned Maria · Aria Services Tue 21:26 6m 02s declared · confirmed · on the record Answered in thirty seconds — in the worker’s favour.

Is this surveillance of my workers?

No - and this matters, because your people will ask. There’s no GPS. Nothing is tracked off-shift. Presence is only ever “near checkpoint X during a rostered shift”, from a beacon that records nothing itself. Workers see their own record - which means the cleaner accused of skipping level 3 can show she was there for six minutes. Witnessed, not watched.

Will it actually help win tenders?

Transparency is an offer most of your competitors can’t make. Walking into a tender with “you’ll see every visit, independently verified, from day one” changes the conversation from price to trust. For clients burned by a previous contractor, it’s often the difference.

What if a client already uses enwitness?

Then you’re ahead - the checkpoints are already on the wall, and your workers just join. Your company’s data stays yours: what a building sees is its building; what you see is your teams. One company’s record is never visible to another.

What does it cost us if a client puts it in?

Nothing. The building holds the plan; your workers use the free app on their own phones. If you want your own portfolio view across all your clients, that’s a plan of your own - and it’s per building, never per worker.

Start with your hardest client.

Pick the site with the most disputes and run enwitness on it. Beacons live in a day, workers onboarded in minutes with an invite link. If the record ends the arguments there, you’ll know what to do with the rest.

With occupant reporting, you see issues before your client calls.

The hidden cost of tap systems.

A tap at every checkpoint sounds small until you multiply it. Forty checkpoints, three rounds a night, every night of the year is more than forty thousand interruptions a year in one building - each one a stop, a phone out, a tap. enwitness removes every one of them. The round verifies itself while your crew just works.

Common questions

Why would I put proof of my own work in a client’s hands?
Because the proof runs your way far more often than against you. “Did anyone even come last night?” dies as a conversation the moment the record exists. Contractors using verified attendance defend invoices, close complaint calls in one email and walk into renewals with evidence instead of assurances. The contractor with proof beats the contractor with promises at every tender.
Will my workers accept it? It sounds like tracking.
It is built not to be. No GPS, no continuous monitoring, nothing recorded outside a work session, and workers see their own records. The honest pitch to a crew: this is the thing that protects you when a client claims the job was not done. Workers who have been blamed unfairly tend to become the strongest supporters. A plain-language worker notice pack comes with every rollout.
What does it cost per worker?
Nothing, ever. Pricing is per building, never per worker - your whole crew is included whether that is three people or three hundred. Workers use their own phones; there is no hardware to issue, charge or recover.
We service twenty buildings. What does that look like?
Per-building pricing that gets cheaper as you add buildings, with 10 beacons included at every one and setup waived from the second building on. Every building’s first ten beacons carry no monthly beacon cost at all.
What if the building already has enwitness beacons from another contractor?
Even better: you connect to the existing checkpoints and start verifying from day one, at no install effort. Beacons belong to the building; each company sees only its own records. Your work is never visible to a competitor, and theirs is never visible to you.
What happens when a worker’s phone is flat, or a basement has no reception?
Detection is Bluetooth, phone to beacon, no mobile signal required - records upload when coverage returns. A flat phone is handled the way you would handle a lost timesheet: the shift is visible as unverified, and the app nudges the worker rather than silently losing the round.
Can I use this to win tenders?
Yes, and it is the strongest use. Bidding with “every visit independently verified, and you will see the records” is a differentiator most of your competitors cannot match. Some building managers are beginning to require it; being the contractor who brought it to the table is the better side of that trend.
What happens when the record shows a round was missed?
The same thing that happens now, except everyone finds out sooner and argues less. Most misses are scheduling problems, sick days and access issues, not anyone hiding anything - and the record turns those into a quick fix instead of a month-later dispute about what happened. You see a missed round before your client calls about it, which is the difference between “we know, it is already covered” and being on the back foot. Contractors who run clean operations have nothing to fear from evidence; it is the operator cutting corners who should be nervous, and they are not your competition for long.
What phones do my workers need?
Their own, running the app - recent Android phones and iPhones are both supported. No special hardware, nothing issued, nothing to recover when someone leaves. And if phones are the sticking point, see the cart-tablet option below: you can run entirely without worker phones.
We have tablets on our cleaning carts. Can we use those instead of the workers’ phones?
Yes, of course. Set each cart up as its own account with the app on the tablet, and the cart is noticed at every beacon it passes - its rounds verify exactly like a worker’s. Cart-only works perfectly well as your whole setup: no worker phones involved, and the record shows your equipment attended every checkpoint on schedule. And if you ever want individual attendance as well, workers’ phones can run alongside the carts - your choice, no change to pricing either way.
Can I find out where a cart is?
Yes - every beacon a cart passes updates its last-seen record, so the answer to “where is cart 3” is “level 12 lift lobby, 2:40 pm”. Buildings often add a beacon at each lift lobby for exactly this reason: carts get a location trail as they move between floors. It is last-seen at a checkpoint, not live GPS - which is usually all anyone actually needs to go and find the thing. The tablet needs an internet connection (a SIM or the building wifi) to report in, but blackspots do not matter: sightings queue on the device and send the moment it is back in signal.
Can we trial it before rolling it out to clients?
Yes - the $25 trial kit ships with two beacons and four QR checkpoints and carries no monthly fee. Prove it at one site, show a client the record, then roll out. The $25 comes off your first plan bill.
My client wants the records. What do they see about my business?
Only work done in their building: verified visits against the agreed checkpoints. They do not see your other clients, your rosters, your margins or anything about your operation beyond their own site. Records of your work in one building are never visible in another.

Prove it, every shift.
